that white/blue one looks nice is there any way of telling the year on a looptail flyer, i was told 80-84 for a looptail

Not really the serials have no date reference

but i would say 79 -80 as a start up to 84 would be about right. they may have made them later than that but my guess is that the 85 was the revised one with the reynolds quad like rear drops.

Not many loops about , in the UK maybe 10 ( that are known) and not loads in the states.

They are a nice frame set and for the SE fanatic pretty much a must have bike.

and the 26inch OM Flyers are probably rarer as are the Mauler the round top tubed 24 inch  frames

Its nice to cruise about on tbo, it is a nice chage to be able to sit down and pedal without kneeing your chin.

Mine has some se cruiser bars, in original paint that a good friend in the states sourced for me. They are late 70s as they had the bubble decal not the wings decal.

christ that blue and gold stands out jj very nice, finally got mine sorted, its yellow with black decals, thinking i'm gonna get it done in black with red bits or black with gold bits, not sure which colour scheme to do....
