Title: Tange Hot Hart Top tube diameter for cable clips

The top tube on these look smaller than the seatpost tube . So I am guessing 1" clips will b 2 big ? Am I correct ?  ::)

The ones that come standard with DC calipers fit perfect, size, not sure, 1"? 1"  1/4"?
