Title: Well it looks like the new kids still like the old bikes............
Post by: bobafett on June 16, 2010, 11:05 PM: Nipped down the shops on my supergoose this afternoon. 2 kids about 12 / 13 standing there and one of them goes..........

"That bike is sick - what is it" :LolLolLolLol:

So I tell him it's an 82 supergoose.

He says.......

"Are you tellin me that bike is really from 1982 ? It's older than me mum ! " :2funny: :LolLolLolLol:

Then he says......

"Can I have go" ;D

So I let him. And he's all like...........

"It's dead light and fast !"

and

"How come there's holes in the rims ? " ;D

and

"What's that black dial thingy on the brakes" :2funny:

Then his mate says......

"Hey it's my turn" :shocked: :2funny: :LolLolLolLol:

Made me smile - good lads :4_17_5:

I know two new schoolers who are into OS stuff - They have Hutchs, GTs and Burners. One just gave me an sr stem as he got a tuffneck one for his OS ride ;D

I just nod and smile and say 'irie' like I'm too stoned to say anything more... they like that.

First time I took my DP out to the local skatepark the kids were shocked... just stairing at the parts on my bike... the fold up GT pegs amused them the most... "Wot use are they? can't grind with them"
