no uban x has been around a while, he bougt .loads of the skyway stock the same time i did years back he used to be called skateboard back catalogue

steve at skatepool had tons of good stuff remeber sending a nos haro master back cos it had a tiny mark on it and only paid £130 for it in the box :idiot2:

That is weird because I bought loads of stuff from Steve and I'm sure his Paypal addy was Steve Stobes. :-\
Edit. Just checked my Paypal account and his business name is Stobes so I always assumed he was called Stobes too...

Steve & his partners were the original distributor of Northwave snowboard boots many years ago. They then moved into the logistics business and at the same time bought a lot of nos bmx/skateboard stock from Shiner Ltd in Bristol. I visited their offices/warehouse a few years ago and had nosey around. They had a gold Trick Star ll propped up in a corner. Yeah,all genuine,sound blokes.

Had a slight issue with some tyres i bought from him , he just said i will get you some replacements in the post today, he did ;) I said what do you want me to do with the ones you have sent ? . His reply was ''keep them as riders'' :shocked:

I bought a stem from Urban X about a week ago and it turned up within 4 days :)
I've bought from Steve at Skatepool , he had a stock problem ( delay) but notified me immediately
, great communication and courteous . nice bloke
Rudewheels Emma , started off well years ago , but ended a nightmare with their customers before finally stopping trading
I had a to start a PP dispute to get money back >:(
