what are the best clear brake pads or are they all basically the same cos they do vary a bit on price????

Basically all the same Paul.

Nicest looking are the fly ones (but £14.99 a pair)...but I'd recommend either the odyssey abrake clear (5.99) or the rad shop ones (4.99) as they are both a good price.

All of them squeeeeel like a buggered budger though.

I got some off here called 'Sticky pads' or summat like that.

Use em on tuffs, unbelievably good, but aye, they squeal like fook.

o got the cheap raadshop ones and they stop me better than anyother pad ive had but can i fook as stop em squeeking on the chronme rims

ive tried a few pairs

proper ones, work well squeal a bit
xposure ones, work well squeal like a bitch (ear hurting squeal)

now running odyssey abrake clears, work well and ive got em set up so they hardly squeal

i used to use the RAD shop ones as they take your spleen out they stop you so well.....but couldn't live with the noise in the end so went back to my demolition white pads which work alright and no noise  :daumenhoch:

by the way, the ones you have M5AT are the RAD shop ones as you got em off me  :daumenhoch:

I absolutely love clear brake pads - I run two brakes, and I can now nosepick one fingered on the front brake - who cares about the odd squeal ... it is loud though.
the radshop ones are a bargain, as are Xposure Bachelor pads, only £3.99 a pair, and they have different coloured inners, red, orange, blue or green. The Vocal Screech blocks are the exact same block, and the same price too.

....so it's the clear pads that are squeelers on my gold Avenue rims - hate em. I was hoping it was just a coating on the rims that would wear off but nooooooo

I'm sure I've got 2 spare pairs, New, couldn't take the noise. I'll have a look in the morning. If you want to try clear pads give me a shout :daumenhoch:

Rad shop clear ones on Oddy chrome rims, stops on a pin head!

And believe me or not, I get hardly any squeal at all.
