On a strictly legal side of things you'd probably have a problem reproducing any Branded padsets.

Its kind of unspoken that I you make a set for yourself and perhaps another for a mate then most big companies won't come after you.

The be all and end all of it is - If you do it to on a large scale to make a profit you'll upset someone on the way and you'll get busted.

people do and have been closed down (1st stage is a letter from the lawers) most people don't push it any further than that.

Besides - there's no real need to bang out thousands of padsets - Its all part of the fun looking for them.

cw is now owned by bmx addicts i think so best be careful there, not sure skyway would let copies go a miss anyway.

Where are we going with this.  If the original manufacturers were still available and making the Pads and decals there would be no requirements to get repop pads and decals. Seems very leeding to try and hang some people. Let's try and re-phrase your question and see what you are trying to achieve :tickedoff:

I am not sure where this topic is going??? LMK :daumenhoch:

I don't think Frankie is a secret agent specialising in industrial espionage looking for elusive pad set counterfeiters   :-\

He's an os bmxer from malaysia and I think he's looking for a padset for his mate    :daumenhoch:

Sounds like Ali G to me  ::)

Ebay is your best bet ,

You're an international BMX collector and you say " you've no idea" where to get a padset from

If you were really from the far east ( THE land of counterfeit and reproduction ) you could probably have your neighbour to make repro Aerospeeds neveermind a padset  ::),,, come on

You're trying to find if anyone if anyone is doing anything "ILLEGAL" as you put it

Before now I've only ever seen someone put Wanted : can some one do me a GT padset or decal

Not start a thread about "if your reproducing padsets by Skyway , CW , Hutch, etc you are breaking the law , you know

so who's doing them on here ?"

i think frankie's thought was to find out which firms will or won't pursue legal actions, when they find their padsets are reproduced. .....implying that the repros of the more permissive firms' sets could be considered "legal". This implication being very touchy --not the least as one never knows how these firms might act in the future.

So maybe it's best just to ask for the decals/padset you're looking for --and let the rest happen naturally.
