Is this genuine?, dont look it to me, no drilled holes in rear dropout and the upper chainstay tube looks like it joins the dropout too far back.

Deffo a GT but I'm no GT expert......looks like a late 80s vertigo with older forks but I'm probably wrong :LolLolLolLol:

according to the seller the frame has DS80202663 stamped on the bottom bracket. ???

Yes I would say 87/88 Performer, but I'm sure these had 990 mounts under the chainstays, maybe they have been removed ???

It looks like a standard '88 performer but the correct forks also came with undrilled dropouts (with a stamped GT logo) to match the rear so it's an '88 frame with '87 (or earlier) forks IMO. I had one a while back and it was pretty sweet - mine came with black 6 spoke OGK/GT mags fitted. 8)
Pretty much what Pickle said ,really. :)
There is a pic of the complete bike in the '88 GT catalogue which can be viewed here. On page 6, I think.

More GT, Haro and other catalogues can be viewed (or downloaded) there too.
