I have bought another crank but this one is a Profile how do you tell what era/year its from?

I think the Profile wording style is the clue, they look like they are late 80's early 90's ones as its the same style font as on my early inverted Profile stem and that's from the same period.

Modern cranks as you can get in any BMX shop I'd say

As above FELLA they are profiles that are still being sold TODAY in the shops   :daumenhoch:

Current Profile cranks are stamped leaving a depression in the arms, these ones don't have that, see the pics below...

I thought the earlier ones were stamped before fabrication and today's ones aren't  ???
