Title: DC hinged seatclamp resto
Post by: animal on July 02, 2010, 05:47 PM
Right I bought 4 a £10 a very sad DC hinged seatclamp with a very bent pin and shot anno and scratches etc .

just getting the pin out without any damage was a long battle but here it is  ;D

I then stripped the anno of the clamp parts and straightened up the bent hinge parts , sanded and polished it . Then off 2 my annodisers .

Then the small matter of the rivet  :-\ Had 2 make one here it is ready 4 fitting  ;)

The nerves really hit in when it came 2 putting it all back 2 gether  :LolLolLolLol: How 2 do it without damaging the new anno  ::) Here it is all done . More than happy with the out come  :smitten:
