Title: Ammaco Freestyler split gusset

Guy's just got myself an Ammaco freestyler but the gusset is split is there anyone on here that can fix this?

Question: Is it still ok to ride the bike with these splits??? also is this common and why?

cracks in them there gussets may be from front brake adjuster collision/non potts-mod bar spins. :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:

Is it the one with the (| |) cut out or the fixed solid gusset? Ammaco learn't their lesson later on like Haro did with the gussets, the later 85 ones were hard to crack...

yes ii've got one broken in the same place,the later frames have modified gussets but i think they suffered the same faults when riden hard, i rode mine for a while but i wouldn't do any tricks on the front , best to get it repaired with a solid gusset if ya goua use it , thats what i'll be doing when i get around to it.

found this in a mates shed , frames been stripped back for repair and wheels are now minty white with polished hubs.

Yeah it's the early type with two II
I ride all my bikes so looks like a repair is needed or sell the frame and look for another.

NOPE i dont think its cos of barspins!! mine went that way back in the day!!
