Finally got round to finishing my first proper build.
Got this well over a year ago in a trade with ANIMAL,this is how it used to look,he called it the Red Baron.

I have built this on a bit of a budget, biding my time and buying rider parts and polishing them up and using bits i already had.
I got the frame only from ANIMAL but was lucky enough to find the correct forks on ebay wrongly listed as Tioga forks for a bargain £30.
My old man used to 2 pack paint frames for me and my mates BITD and came out of retirement to do this.
Here it is in its new clothes...."The Black Widow"..........

I'm gonna say what everyones thinking... this would look even sicker with a layback ( non braced ) :daumenhoch:
I love Badlanders and your one looks SICK... the only bit I'd change would be the levers... they just don't look beefy enough for the bike... a nice pair of silver & black Tech77 with the Potts mod would be sweet...
yes I do have a NOS pair for sale BTW :2funny:

Hi
Looks quality to me, and I much prefer Freestylers to have straight posts.
Only thing i'd change would be a set of DX, or ideally MKS Graphite pedals.
Great work.

Thanks for all the comments peeps :daumenhoch:
unfortunately can't make MK but will look forward to the pics of DEL and ANIMALS Badlanders.
I did think of putting a layback on but thought it looked ok with a straightpost when ANIMAL had it so went that route.
Would have loved some nos DX or MKS GRAPHS but they would have ate the budget.
As for the tech 3s,i had them lying around so on they went!
Cheers for the ideas though!
Next project is a baby blue rickman freestyler, probably take me another 18 months :LolLolLolLol:
