This has been done by e few radster's sort of , so here is part of the reason for my current state of mind regarding the kiddies bike problem i have :LolLolLolLol:
started about 1971 with this, it should have wheels on it but apperently i used to run the dog over when it was trying to sleep so the wheels had to go , notice the the genuine first issue Dobbin bars :LolLolLolLol: quality and now rare as fook

1975 the real start of it proper bike Raliegh Tomahawk :smitten: loved this rode the thing into the ground , i remember if i couldn't take my bike i just refused to go >:(

took up skating in 1977 , got my first pair of vans blue lace ups from a well off relative who'd been in the state's and showed me a skateboard magazine he brought back, so that was on the xmas list that year, Dogtown in donni :LolLolLolLol: Newporter pro board :smitten:, (still got the deck :daumenhoch: ) suade leather pad set :daumenhoch: Adidas sports bag for school fekkin hated humping that thing about , Airfix HMS Victory, top crimbo

1979 back to the push irons silver Chopper grown up Tomahawk :LolLolLolLol: and me old mumsy bless here
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/ff98/jimjdld/bmx/time%20line/mumsy.jpg)
then somthing strange happend mid way through 1979 , destininy or just shear bad luck led me into Halfords on one saturday afternoon i'd gone in to get a gear toggle chain for the chopper when i saw what can only be described as revelation in the form of a TEAM MURRAY :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: was my reaction :LolLolLolLol: , by september it was mine built up, sat in the front bedroom waiting for christmas, my old man had a cruel streak to him :LolLolLolLol:
Between xmas and New year 1980 , this is the point where the slow decline turned into a fekkin great landslide :LolLolLolLol:, the seat is dirty because id been sitting on it every day since september :LolLolLolLol: , coaster brake big blue Knobbly tires and snow , what more do you kneed

the Team Murray only lasted into the summer , i snapped the head tube clean of at Steetley quarry , mumsy took it back and got the manager at Halfords in head lock and came away with a Murry x20c, foc :daumenhoch: , mumsy's you don't fook with em , don't have any pics of that :'(, it was well made though , possibly one of the one SE knocked back ? so to where the time line stops
1985 Akisu remember it being stickerd up as a Stratton pro , putting it together here to flog it to raise funds for the lovely white DP Feestyler i wanted , again all the essentials were there Tuffs , ramp bad hair cut,,, :daumenhoch: :LolLolLolLol: , the following years are full of Haro Sports after the two DP's , bigger ramps (o level metal work is the biggest i made i'll dig it out and post a pic as it takes me up to 86) and broken bones :LolLolLolLol:

Fookin' brilliant mate, that made my morning.
Its cool seeing the years going by and the change in toys.
I love the pic of you with the skateboard, you're beaming like a cheshire cat :LolLolLolLol:
You gotta love the 70's decor there too, and I bet amongst the couple of bottles lurking in the background there, there was a bottle of that yellow liqueur, think it was called Warnicks, everybody bought a bottle at christmas I think, but no bastard ever drank it :LolLolLolLol:
