Riding trails :'( Best bike Ive had. Spoke to S&M they said to contact 4 Down, which I've done. Hopefully I'll know tomorrow if its going to be replaced under warranty. I sent the warranty card to S&M last year when I bought the frame.

Gutted dude.... :(
What happened?
My son cracked his a couple of months ago, very thin walled tubing on LTF's i know a few that have dented real easily
-
bad news fella, modern frames push the envelope sometimes and one big hits enough..
-
think the term for this type of failure is "coke canning" :daumenhoch:

Talked about this the other night, shitloads of LTF's have broken over the last year and no one koo's...
It must be ok for a £400 "cool" frame to break regularly.
-
Its almost unknown for american made frames to break :Great_Britain:
-
shit news glen, as its not a manufacturing defect you may get offered a crash replacment frame, basicly they sell you a new frame at cost price this is what moeller told me a couple of years ago when my laf downtube got squashed
personally i dont think ill ride a sub 5lb frame again as they are made for people who weigh less than 12 stone and ride smooth
why not go for a dirtbike this time?
-
cool building a dirtbike with ltf geometry wont be a problem as they have all the options on the s&m website to do this kinda thing
maybe see if they can build you a ltf using a dirtbike's top and downtube
