Nice one Pete :daumenhoch:
a lot of people deserve thanks for working hard for this weekend, and probably won't get it from most of the people who go!
I'm sure there will also be a few people out of pocket from those who reap the benefits, but never buy a site supporters tag/t shirt/raffle ticket :knuppel2:
they seem to think it's some kind of charity

:4_17_5:
nice one gents !!! :coolsmiley:

Fooking excellent day yesterday...we all got set up quickly, brilliant effort by so many people.
TwoBob's ramp is fooking awesome, really awesome...bru travelled down specially to help him construct it. Fooking-a.
Jai and his amazing van of love turned up - OMG, never seen anything like what is in the back of that, everyones wet dream.
Great vibes, it's gonna be an amazing year.

well just got back as can`t do a weekender and great day chilled and nice bikes as usually and the kick ramps look cool as well done lads and jai stall well let say i didn`t want to spend but did as got a nos haro sport for £50 . my little one had fun running around with jai daughter . good to say hello to people i haven`t seen in a few years and sorry if didn`t say hello i had a little child to think about and again sorry to those i never said good bye and my other half got bored.
so overall great day and great bikes
only moan is getting into the show and shine bit was a nightmare if coming from the road as tents all over the place and the main road was a pain with van`s over spilling on to roadway . you notice these things more when have a little one to think off
-
My first time to MK and i loved it!!
Every one was really friendly and the bikes were awesome!

Wanted to stay but was a last moment thing for me and missed out on the cheep accom and have lost my tent but ill be defo there both days next year and hope to have a bike to show! lol

Had a great day yesterday mooching about MK10 with me mate Mick and as usual a fantastic array of bikes great people and a great BMX Track. Whats really good is putting faces to user names and meeting the peeps that you only know through the web site. The one and only complaint I would like to mention is ...............................BIAGIO.
Ok, its a free event and everyone is invited but i just got the f*cking ump when Jai announced that his parts stool was open for business that B just bought the f*cking lot. All the Haro plates, most of the takagi and sugino opc's, 2 or 3 n.o.s quadangles, what looked like 20 odd sets of n.o.s landing gear and all the other good stuff that he can bang on his f*cking web page for 4 times as much as he bought them for. This is'nt a knock at Jai whatsoever he's helped me out before and seemed like a really nice bloke but perhaps the true lovers of the hobby should have had the oppertunity to buy the fantastic array of parts first then Biagio had what was left.....if anything. You just know that them Quadangle's are going to be on vert-ego for £600 a pop within the next couple of weeks, I understand he's running a business, i run one myself, but its just so annoying.
I'm probebly gonna open up a can of worms with this rant but i just wanted to voice my opinion.
I just managed to grab something nice before the f*cker got all the cream. I did'nt really need it tbh but bought it just so he could'nt sell it on vert-ego for stupid money..............Many thanks Jai, I thought you sold it for a really fair price........unlike he's!!!!

Love your quadstyler by the way :smitten:

Love your quadstyler by the way :smitten:
Beutifull aint it.....I just could'nt let him ave it aswell as all the other stuff so I thought f*ck it. The wife wer'nt to happy though!!! :)
Si.
-
when are they? ;)
-
when are they? ;)
shopping.
-
Ha! ;D
-
Hi mat I'm so glad you got that and yeah he is a twat! Maybe jia should have said sorry b you are not having all the good stuff so do us a favour and f..k off!
-
money talks at the end of the day lads unfortunately :-\
-
Bottom line is this...If Biagio wants to buy parts then fine, but he gets in line with everyone else....it is not exactly sporting to give someone like Biagio first dib dobs when few people are aware the shop is open. (I do not know the full story as I was not there so I am not making a judgement on that)
Much as Biagio does do some good parts..it does suck in the same way as one would view a ticket tout.
Yes its business...but it can leave some with a sour taste.
I would not be surprised when people are upset...
The MK meets are supposed to be about BMX'er's, not someone making an obscene profit on the back of childhood desires....
As I know sod all about Biagio apart from that he sells parts...I would ask
1: Did he race
2: Did he contribute anything to the proceedings other than his presence
3: Was he there to watch the racing, freestyle, or show and shine...or just see what he could bag for his website.
4: Does he do anything at all for the sport of BMX other than sell parts at inflated prices
If the answer to all the above is no...
Then in my opinion he should not have been there...period, business or not!
Ray.
-
He was raiding the shop going behind the counter and setting stuff to one side while being told not to. Getting all of all the best bits then shortly after drove off!
He is a teat but MK10 was really cool and his greed will hopefully bite him on the arse one day!
Right so back to being pos about a top event!
-
ROCKCHICK strikes again >:D :D :( >:( ;D :tickedoff: :2gunsfiring_v1:
-
Just as I said earlier................. Landing gear forks now for sale on vert-ego for the small sum of £299. Thats a £200 mark up on each set. The geeza is a f*cking pr*ck who should not be allowed at any of the events in my opinion. Its just ridiculous.
Si.
-
:10_2_12: lets do a price comparison thread . what you managed to pay at mk10 if you was lucky enough to get any thing.... and how much vert-ego is selling the same item for. lets start with landing gear forks £50 ....... vert-ego £299.99 (not my purchase but i saw them sold for). :10_2_12:
-
I will never buy from vert-ego....... 'killing the scene' big style in my opinion.
:2gunsfiring_v1:

My n.o.s quadangle freestyler - £280.00. I predict he will put them up for around £600 but we'll have to wait and see.

Can the Biaggio stuff get moved, i know it's something peeps want to discuss but it's not a positive note in a thread about a WICKED weekend.
In Jai's defence, he works for Shiners, money talks, I dont like it but in all honesty if i had the cash and could make the money then i would, we all would ::)

So who won the raffle?
I had 2 weird coincidences on the Saturday... the second being that I brought ticket 209 and I thought that HAD to be the winner
...I just read though that it was gonna get redrawn if the winner wasn't there ... :( I could only make it Saturday.
So who was the happy ripper winner :D
-
Many many appologies for starting the Biagio rant on this thread....... In hindsight I should have started a seperate thread for that debate and for that I'm extremely sorry. I had a fantastic time at Mk10 and met some great people that I only ever new as user names. Great people, great bikes, great track and brilliantly organised...... and all for free!!!!! Well done RAD BMX and many thanks.

did anyone get any pics of the 4 pink hollywoods ?
haha, Simon Hayes brought them up, NOS and covered in thick dust! and zero psi in the tyres! Was so funny seeing all the 'real' collectors tutting in disgust, Simon doesn't give a fook!
Those were just his built ones, you should see the NOS boxed ones he has...........Hutch Factory rider BITD (and European Champ 1985)

I had a great time. Good to see so many people for one, and then so many well thought out bikes. I thought the standard was high at MK10...

I Just happend to be walking past as they were being unloaded. I wondered if he would ever stop digging them out from the back of his van !
I haven't been before, the show bikes were awsome and there seemed a great atmosphere as well. Thanks to the organisers and thanks to the ramp builder. Managed a rollback 540 for the first time in about 25 years ;)

Guys, yeah will post pics up soon, I won't go on about it.........did too much of that yesterday, I'm sure peeps were trying to avoid me ;D
All I've used is a duster (no other cleaning product), covered up a few tiny marks on the black components, used astonish on the brake blocks (came back to white). Just gotta wipe over the 48s and the tyres, it's come out spanking, just fooking amazed
Would it be cheeky to enter it in BOTM at some point ::)

TELL US ALL WHAT YOU SAID TO BIAGO,S FACE WHEN YOU SEEN THIS HAPPEN BET YOU SAID NOTHING DEAD EASY TO BE A KEYBOARD WARRIOR
This is either Biagio himself or someone new to the scene who does not understand what Biagio does. Its a fair comment.... I did'nt say anything to his face, nobody did, you/he was there one second then gone but I probebly would'nt have said anything anyway.....I'm just voicing my opinion......Is that o.k with you or not. I've never said I wanted to have an argument with him or beat the f*cking sh*t out of him have I. This is the last of it i will post on here, if you want to discuss further give me a p.m. This thread is for celebrating a good weekend and i've already appologised for starting this rant earlier.
