As most of you know by now, my favourite brand of BMX from bitd was MT Racing. So........here's my latest MT acquisition. It's a 1985 MT Racing "The Fox Special Edition" with a 19" Toptube (full Chromo Frame and Forks). This was one of MT's top racing bikes bitd and it shares the same Frame and Forks as the MT Racing UFO.
Picked this bike up more or less complete but it was missing a few factory spec items. Now fitted with the correct F1 type grips, Victor pedals and Cheng Shin tyres. Thanks to Del for a set of replacement decals and to Paul at CC for the anodising. Hope you like her :)

Thanks for the PM telling me about this thread. It looks amazing - really good job there. My Fox is coming along nicely too. Picked up some Araya rims last week, so need to get them rechromed. Also found a set of Oakley style grips in black with grey sleeves. Will have a go at dyeing them black next week, and will dip the seat too, as it's lost some of it's colour. Managed to pick up a set of dia compe 901's and black suzue hubs at RAD MK yesterday. Am looking for a good 1 piece crank.. Any suggestions?
Andy.

Looking forward to the pics Andy :daumenhoch:
As for a crank, they were actually fitted with a Lien Fa (heat treated 175mm).

Attention to detail as ever is impeccable. Job well done mate.
I don't think anyone else on the planet has done more to preserve the MT Racing BMX legacy.

BITD we sold loads of these at Heff's, always loved the Aero Pro though; lovely rear end and fantastic fork dropouts :daumenhoch:
