As above, in the old school racing what are the majority of bikes that people use to race around on?
-
mid school ones :LolLolLolLol:
-
fook that :LolLolLolLol:
-
In the North; probably those long TNTs are the most common. There's quite a few GT, then just a handful each of Robbos, S & Ms, Haro, Free Agent, Burners etc
Lot's of late 80s/early 90s frames really!
-
Less common but used:
Ammaco, Brackens, Bully, Cyclecraft, CW, DP, ELF, GHP, Hyper, Kuwahara, Powerlite etc.
Hopefully soon there'll be a Falcon Pro occasionally on the gate >:D :Great_Britain:
-
Earlier in the summer we also had a fooker and
bastardized mk II burner on the gate..........both dog rough!!

Probably need smaller cranks though!! :-\
-
so what would a 16 stone slow fat bloke who's 6' 2" need to get? if they wanted to go old school rather than mid?
-
An Old Skool cruiser!

lol. thanks..but i'd prefer a 20. my Holmes is fine, i just wondered what would be comparable old school. long, tough, rides nice.
-

Free Agent Limo/Pro XL?
There weren't many proper XLong framesets available in the 80s.
-
Joe, just pick up an OS Goose or something and use a long stem and a layback for extra length :daumenhoch:
-
a slow moving one :LolLolLolLol:
-
Marty about 2 years ago the late 80's Robinsons seemed to be very popular in the O/S ace rseries North and south regions
they are
19.5" Pro
20.5" ProXL
and if you can find one 21" Amtrac :)
They were made by GT ;)
-
The CW zxl is another proper os long bike(if you can find one), when I was searching for an OS bike for myself last year im sure i saw a table on here with showing some of the os lengthy toptube bikes?
