As i cant remember. Before my dad opened the bike shop he snaffled this for me just at the start of the valleys BMX scene - think it "come off the back of a lorry" :coolsmiley:
all i know is it had a battering for a couple of years - was a heavy beast, but didnt break one thing on it - even the thin mags stayed in one piece.
the other pics are some nice old times shots of me and my mates hitting the ramps my dad built from plans in the Haro Freestyle book.

Also today found my old bike gear - all the gear - no 'real' idea - but it made us all think we were invincible! :P

Love old pics like these, thanks for posting :daumenhoch:

That early bike of yours looks like one of the re named Raleigh Burner frames - there were a few strangely titled bikes thatlooked exactly the same as Burners I seem to rememebr . I stumbled across a red and blue one a few years ago at a car boot - cant rememebr whatthe were called but they were essentially Burnes.
That yellow bike a few pics down is a CALIFORNIA STAR - both my older brothers had them in about 1983/4 - very heavy and not great at all - nice and yellow though!

love these old pics :smitten:

i think these are the last of the gems i have from BITD - my dad is in the process of clearing out his attic and he just came across these - if you look closely enough to the previous pics of all the bikes on display, the poster on the wall and the one my dad is holding are these posters that i now have - i had completely forgotten Eddie had signed these too, but they are very faint now.
