Title: cost for shipping abroad
Post by: STUMPYLEE on August 08, 2010, 06:13 PM
Can anyone help. I'm selling a frame & forks & wondered what the cost would be special delivery from royal mail. I know it would proberly be cheaper sending by some other company but royal mail is easier for me as i can just pop it in the post office.
Do you know the cost of shipping to Europe & the cost to ship worldwide, it proberly the weight of an 85 haro if that helps
Also how much is it to send bars to europe & worldwide if possible
Many Thanks Lee

If it's Europe, Parcelforce Euro48 is your best bet but it is only available through Parcel2go.com.  Don't ask for it @ Parcelforce because that service is only available through the agent - ridiculous but true.  I asked for it at my local branch and they didn't have a clue.  :uglystupid2:

£14 + vat is a great price, though...

Don't know about worldwide - they go off volumetric weights so you'll have to box the frame and measure the box to get an accurate quote.

I sent a set of bars to Singapore through the post office
And it was about £7

As for tha volumetric weight
The same set of bars online going by the size of the package
Was coming out at £60
