Title: twin pinch my floval
Post by: moochalargo on August 13, 2010, 06:22 PM
hi dudes can you help?

Not sure if this should be in tech??

I got my self a floval at mk and am trying to make my mark on it!!

Ive got a pair of twin pinch redlines i wana stick on it, I had a quick look the other day and the se spindle is diff from the redline one and ive got the large bearing set with the twin pinch. Can i just swap the spindles over and use the mtb sized bb parts with the twin pinch spindle or do i need to purchase my self a redline bb to fit the frame??????

thanks for your help!! :4_17_5:

If they're both US size Bearings then sling the spindle in. You will not need to buy another set of bearings.

Just stick the axle in and see if it fits?

Watch out as the last crank set I had off a Floval complete had a 20mm spindle-Redlines are 19mm.

the floval flyer uses a cartridge style bottom braket - although its still splined
-it has quad = 4 bearings,  i think it only loads one way
-so no, you need the euro bb bearings
