Title: Std 1" Threaded headset query - Headtube Internal Diameter
Post by: BrianP on August 18, 2010, 04:13 PM
Okay, maybe someone knows this off the top of their head :)

For a regular 1" BMX headset, what is the inside diameter of the head tube where the cups push in, or alternatively what is the outside diameter of the part of the bearing cup which pushes into the head tube?

Thanks,

Brian  :daumenhoch:

Think there's something on the Chris King website. I have a couple of 1 inch Odyssey Pro headset's that have to have a shim to fit NORMAL bmx bikes. Some mini's run a smaller diameter headtube like older roadbike's.
