Title: 82 Gusset Goose, new pics on page 2.
Post by: stevochb on August 18, 2010, 07:21 PM: Just about finished this still need a frame pad and red brake set but the sun came out so I took a few pics.

82 frame and forks,
Mongoose stamped cranks, seat post, headset and btm bracket
Champion bars
Acs mongoose stem now with gold stem :)
Sella Italia seat
Araya rims on sunshine hubs. The brake rub on the rear was to bad so I had to shine it but the front is perfect.
Og decals, I left them on, I dont think they look to bad.

Cheers Glen, I would have prefered an older model but this one came up on the museum for a steal so I had to have it :daumenhoch:

Actually that ACS manufactured mongoose stem was used on the likes of the supergoose and team models as early as August 82 ;)

would you prefer the DC1020 for the rear (same condition, no charge swap over) as the 890's on the end of it's travel and it would give you a bit of leeway if you ever decided to change sprocket sizes?
