I was suspicious of the damage, cracks on the gusset in just the chrome.... :-\

Would've made a nice os race bike though

Post by: SaMAlex on August 23, 2010, 08:50 PM: They (early S&Ms) all cracked there. It didnt seem to make much difference, not many headtubes broke off.
The mk2 Holmes cracked on the bend of looped seat stay. It wasnt a good design.

my dirtbike from 91/2 has a hairline there too, nothing to worry about
