Andy, I think it's something to do with its holes.
If it has one it's a girl if not it's a boy ;D

Hope that helps :daumenhoch:
Whatever it is, I look forward to seeing it restored :)

never quite plucked up the courage to buy anything from the states, is that where the bargains are at ??

did you have a customs / import tax to pay as well as shipping.

I see lots of things on ebay US & on Bmxmuseum but i never seem to find alot of people willing to ship to the uk.  :(

M3-H2592

With that serial and those seat stays I'm saying Expert  :daumenhoch:

Or......

A VERY early 3rd gen blue max  ;)

But....

Reading between the lines with that mongoose headset on it - and both frame and headset covered in cacky paint I think it's safe to say that the headset is original to the frame - and that wouldn't be right for a max - they came with tange stamped headsets and BBs  :)

Expert  :daumenhoch:

got the paint stripper out this afternoon and this is the result,
in pic 3 you can just see the remains of the decals that had been painted over.
the chrome has been keyed by the person that painted it so is is pretty much shot.

I think white has been done to death on the Expert/California frames, do it candy blue with blue/chrome parts, maybe even keep the forks chrome  :daumenhoch:
