Love it love it. love those skinny wheels, tell me are they just normal rims with super skinny tyres or do you have to shell out a whole heap of cash on rims too?
Great job, bet you cant wait for your next build now
-
Very Very nice some top parts CAMPY brake ::) and the chrome looks spot on :daumenhoch:
Drop the seat post as you would fook the frame if you through a leg over it :LolLolLolLol:
WOODY
-
nice build mooch i like it a lot, thats a Campagnolo Chorus on the back isn't it thats a bit different than a mx 1000 :daumenhoch:, and goes with the full race feel
-
I like that a lot, but if you are going with the whole weight saving route with skinny wheels and campy brake then I would go with a set of alloy cranks i.e. Campagnolo or T.A.'s.
However it really is a lovely build so great work. :4_17_5:
-
Very nice, looks fast and Im loving the campy caliper :4_17_5:

-
Cracking bike but how tall are you? :LolLolLolLol:
Looks kind of freaky with the seatpost that high ;D
-
cheers guys thanks for the compliments!!
Its just a build of bits i had or wanted bitd.
Jaymz the wheels are ukai 1 1/8" and yeah u need tyres to match as they are bigger than a 20" even though they are still classed as a 20"
Ok the seat post is a little high lol!! wanted it to be comfy to ride!! it looked wrong first try so have dropped it a bit but sounds like i may have to drop it more!! looks like it will have to be legs round ears!!
or i could just ride the floval instead
-
I got the floval at mk and just got some skyways for it and remover the front brake n reflectors!!

So thats the pub bike and then when i wana get more serious ive got this i built some time ago to cover more distance!

i dont think i've ever seen a seat post thats as long as that .
what make is it.
think the landing gear suit it fine.
proper like that.
-
i think its called flag-post ::)
-
The post is an elf. Got it at mk. It's in the frame by about 6 inches or more!
And at that height I can use the bike with some comfort. Not nice to ride when your used to more tech machinery !!!
The old bikes are my dads collection of show ponys. 2 triumph from the early 60's a BSA of similar age and a Honda 400 4???? Lol don't do bikes with engines, it's kinda cheating lol
-
damn cool tho, you're old man got taste!
kinda like the skinnies on yours, wonder how that rides like ---with out the elf of course :D
-
So guys what height shoul you set a seat at on an exp if you are going to use it? Looking for s measurement so I can look n see if u like it!
Just got some pro class I may put on or should I build the pro?
