No idea Sid - Steven had it for sale with a few other bits I was after for another build - we had a little chat and haggle and came to an agreement - I didn't probe any deeper into how it came to be in such nice condition but without it's original bits to be honest :-\ Didn't see any of the other stock components for sale by Steven so not sure who it was split by :-\ Maybe it didn't start as a complete - they were available as frame sets as well back in the day.
it is in very nice condition - a few nicks n scrapes here n there but that makes it look and feel more original if that makes sense ???
It has the original bike shop decal on the seat tube as well 8)
