i cant be arsed to pee around with it jase, i was thinking of just hitting with the auto sol from the off but i dont want to waste any time when i could be stripping it and going thru the wet and dry then auto sol  to make it really bling

My mx1000 is actually chrome I believe, so check that first.

Anything that is annodised silver usually has been sprayed with lacquer also - so you may need to remove that first, like they do with alloy wheels..

Red, blue anno just comes off with caustic soda - but this will not remove clear stuff on a silver one in my experience.

Nice one mate...  :daumenhoch:

Was it annodised then?

You may already know but using 'green scouring pad'  with autosol helps big style  - 'bling bling'  ;)
