Rims: Sun City Lite chrome
Tires: Revenge Fatty, Fit FAF
Brakes: Suelo (fly's flatland co) front brakes, fitted front and rear
Seatpost: Odyssey Convertable

Big thanks to 4down for helping me get the stuff from S&M and with the United stuff.
Thanks to Steve from LiferBMX for sending me package after package of parts that I'd forgotten.
And thanks to Del for making some amazing frame stickers for me just from the ATF picture on the S&M website!

Im pleased that I might get some good riding shots over the next few days. Cos thats what bike builds are all about, right!
Ive left my (well used, 4 year old) LAF as built up as I could. I only really took the wheelset and the front brake off it. Ive put back in the Oddy wheels that I used to use, along with a fat knobby front tire (there isnt much tire clearance on the rear) and Im hoping to give it some track/trails use.

-

Nice one, it looks like a proper BMX :daumenhoch:
It totally looks like a proper BMX, in fact on old fools there were a lot of front brakes and seat posts...I mean seat posts you could see, not just a stump holding a seat on.
In Alex's motor were four riders, four bikes and eight brakes. :daumenhoch:
-
After the Old Fools weekend my bike doesnt look like that any more! Beaten, scratched, dropped, used ...... loved and RIDEN!
-
man that rear hub took a beating! lol.

man that rear hub took a beating! lol.
Yeah it did. Trying to make the hub flange protect the spokes never works. It just means the ally hub gets trashed slightly before the steel spokes get marked. If you need a spoke guard then get one. The hub should be out of the way regardless. Having said that, I dont often ride street so dont use a spoke guard. 2 peg grinds on a block later and I might be having a re-think! ???

nice job Al :)

Yeah, that was Arrash's ATF. I saw him riding it a few weeks later at a Stephen Murray race at MK. I think it was his bike that stuck in my head and made me want to get the same translucent blue :daumenhoch:
