Title: Another old survivor
Post by: gmac on April 21, 2006, 07:24 PM
197? Roger DeCosta with Motomags

Very hard to make the serial number out, as it has about the only bit of damage on the whole bike right over it. Looks like 2126526, but the first few numbers are hard to read. Anyone decipher that for me ?

Gonna leave it as it is, but would be nice to find a decal set for it.

Nice old bike anyway, and pretty uncommon over here
  :)

Nice to see one on these shores. Top find there.

I agree leave it as it is.

Still race it though. Your not too far from Hersden and the season starts again soon.

I'm definately not gonna restore it, but I reckon it would look the tats with a set of RDC decals slapped on  :)

I will have one of my other Motomag Gooses for sale soon, don't need 3  ;)

Cheers Paul  :daumenhoch:

I have seen some fork decals on U.K ebay but I think they're for different forks, not the Ashtabula's.

Gotta keep hunting  :)

Guy,
If you are splitting up one of your other Mongoose's I would be interested in some tyres mate  :daumenhoch:

Guy,

I'll look to see if I have some already otherwise I'll let you know when I get the f+f.

You may have seen this already but in case you haven't it's a pretty cool old advert
