rather rusty but with peachy dropouts and fork ends... a nice early DP... about to wing its way to the US for young Rob to work his magic on

Who is Rob and what magic may he weave?

I didn't think the American brotherhood subscribed to the Firebird Freestyler as a valid piece of BMX history....

Aha!  Good stuff!  Be keen to see how the restoration goes  :daumenhoch:

The DP Freestyler is one of the reasons that this humble little site exists, but that's all history  :daumenhoch:

When my mate found out I was building an OS bike, he said..."What is it?...A Ripper or summink?"

I then said, "No, I'm building a replica of my old Firebird!"

He replied by saying, "What?....A DP?....They were cheap crap weren't they?"

Midschoolers eh? ....What do they know?  >:D

Can't wait to see another one saved!

In short Bill, Dave and Orb got kicked off Vintage and banned over a thread about a DP Firebird which led to RadBMX being created  :daumenhoch:

....had my eyes set on that chrome one that was for sale weeks ago -- then this cat, which i was taking care of starts coughing and drooling --would-nt close its mouth. So next day I bring it to the vet -- he found a bone stuck in the palate (my guess was feather) --missed the auction, but now i got this cat looking at me all day, thinking i'm superman  :LolLolLolLol:
