As we get ever closer to christmas my daughter has asked for a BMX like her Daddy but I am to tight to build her one.
I was thinking of a Mongoose Blaze

Is there anything else I should be considering :daumenhoch:

Sorry to pinch your thread but my Sister is also looking for a bmx for my Nephew, needs to be new & she has about £200 to spend, i've pm stodgy but had no reply. So if anyone has any ideas on what would be a good new schhol ride for a 8 year old (don't know much about new school bikes) Any help would be appreciated :daumenhoch:

:) Depends on if you want a race type bike(20" or 18" wheels) or a freestyle bike.A lot of the 16"freestyle bikes are very heavy for youngsters.

Yes I know what you mean about the weight of some of them. I think I want a twenty inch wheels race bike and although the 2010 is better specked it has a coaster brake on it and I don't think she is ready for that.
