If you want a brand name that's reckognizable from the 80's you could go for "Lee Chi"
The levers are stamped Lee Chi and the calipers are marked MX1000A.
Then there was "formos" and then loads of other generic cr@p as well a lot of the copy ones on ebay that are new in the bag aren't even genune 80's they're just new copy cr@p.
Why not hunt for some genuine DC's in need of TLC and spruce them up ?
Or if your build is say 82 or earlier go for Dia Compe 890/1020 or for 84 onwards you could go for DiaCompe 901's

thanks mate, was tryin to get a dc mx1000 rear and a dc tech 3 (black ones) , ill see if i can find some lee chis then. thanks for info :)

I have a set of dc's and a set of formos ones and they are pretty much identical, the formos were mine from the 80's and are still living on my sons mini burner :daumenhoch:
