Title: Bleaching brake pads ??????
Post by: Jaymz on October 12, 2010, 10:02 AM
Can I bleach these?? Or will it degrade them. I bleached an old set off one of my kids bikes and now when you brake it comes off all powdery, like someones dropped a few grams of coke over the bike!!!

:daumenhoch: so at least i now they will go white, but will they go all powdery like the others – they are useless, ive worn them right down on 10 rides and the bike looks like its been attacked by a snow globe!!

In another hobby of mine, we use Steradent tablets to bring white plastic up nice and bright without damaging it....Might be worth a try seeing as they're cheap.... :)
