Title: Super quick 3 day build!!! FINISHED
Post by: Jaymz on October 13, 2010, 07:35 PM
Due to unforseen circumstances and an ever nearing birthday, my nephew was expecting a bmx this year, something he didnt actually tell to anyone till 2 days ago, which was about a week after his mum had gone and forked out on alternative presents, and only 4 days before his birthday

so nito power building mode:

I started with this abomination if you remember i threw it together on bored afternoon  http://www.radbmx.co.uk/forum/index.php'topic=114646.msg1116184#msg1116184
so far i have this:

Tomorrow night i will build up properly and take for a test run to see how it rides. never had to build under pressure, its fun, quite like the pressure, although i did have colour coded bars to go with forks, but they fell off my jig into the gravel below and were lost as i had no more of that colour hanging around :(

they simply wouldnt get here in time fella and in all honesty, i've given and built him a complete bike, bought a new set of wheels, 2 new tyres, a brand new front brake, i think i've spent enough on my nephew this year!!! God does that make me sound really tight

eve 1 prep/prime
eve 2 paint
eve 3 build up
eve 4 ♪♫♪♫ Happy birthday to you - happy birthday to you etc ♪♫♪♫

and yeah was in such a rush i just masked the inners of the cups over and sprayed it
