Started to get all my parts together today for my Hoffman Flash ready to build this week for the Western Australia Old School Meet next Sunday at Whiteman Park. here's some pre-build pics, f&f is NOS (thanks Generallee) with a mix of NOS and restored parts, I think there are some real gems in for this build, I am undecided on the seat and the tyres so my options for both are there!

I do actually have more.... it's just so difficult to build it up from NOS :shocked:

Ive got a nos flash xl frameset still in the box but I dont want to build it just yet, so im restoring another flash xl frame i had. Ive got the HB racing bars and a nos padset (same as yours for it) but mine is a later model 97-99ish. Im after a pair of flash forks if anybody has a set?

I just rechecked the winstanleys website to see if they had found anymore hoffman tat and there ws a red flash xl in stock so guess what... I buyed it!!!!! Gotta love a flash.

I over polished the stem a little, although I don't think it was stamped very deep to start with LOL!

I'm with Rob in that (IMO) the blue seat would look better, but its your bike Marty :daumenhoch:
I'm after a seat post decal like the one on your post ... anybody got a spare one :)
...or a chrome Hoffman layback... did he do one?

The Powerlite ones? I got them off SanMarcoPizza about 5 years ago, was going to put them on this build but decided that the Comp III's looked cool and really suited the build. I also have a pair of new Primo Dirt Tracks in fat and skinny that I have thought about putting on it too ::). If I can manage to pick up a pair of Odyssey T1000 wheels over here I might chuck them [the Powerlites] on them ;).

That looks lush, loving it in chrome.
I have a '99 Flash XL in Orange which is almost totally original, even the tires and grips. However I removed the stickers when I bought it because I didn't like them. :idiot2:
