i have had a mate message me asking bmx advice and thought id ask you guys as its "new school".
basically his boy wants a bike for the local skatepark, its a christmas present with a budget of £200, and a new bike rather than a better "used" model!
his lad is only young, 9 i think, so whats the best buy for his moolah?
thanks in advance!

I purchased my daughter a 2010 mongoose saving about 30% plenty available and better that the 2011 models :daumenhoch:

At 9 you wanna think about his size, probs best off with a 16" or 18"

dare i surgest these people winstanleys.???? they always have a clearence bike section u can get last years models for a good reduction. sadly they are known for beeing a bit slow nad not 100 percent reliable. but worth a look and a phone call.

:) As he`s 9 I`d reckon an 18" or short 20" over a 16 incher would be better.Winstanleys prices are great but they often list products not in stock & their customer service sucks.Speak to Stodgy at the RAD shop, his service is A1.Whatever you do ,make sure your mate stays away from Argos or Halfrauds tat!

Depends on his height as to 18" or small 20" bike. Most GT bikes at that sort of price are heavy...give me a shout at the shop and I'll talk you through some options (don't worry I'll advise the right bike for him, not just what we have in stock)
