So i've got this VDC that came with a bb set-up, i'm not sure but i think it's VDC too ... either way i want to keep it on the bike. Its a Euro BB.
I really don't know enough about this, so i'd like you guys to advise me on what cranks i could go with that would fit this spindle? Needs to era correct .. this is an 84.
Cheers fellas..

isnt it just the bracket that different size, so the spindle should be the same?
Ive never done this set up but thought it was??
-
sugino ct's ??
-
By the looks of it, any square taper cranks should fit
-
Would RL 400's fit ???
-
400's are a different size to a standard square taper bb ;)
-
an early eighties Campag track chainset would look trickety trick
-
or perhaps a shimano crank(600's)??

¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦¦
Either of the above 2 crank suggestions would be ideal.
-
any crank, just need a bb to suit?
-
ohhh, i see what u mean, defo cook brothers???
-
black maxy cross or super maxy
-
TA's used to be the crank of choice :daumenhoch:
-
I'd agree with the Bof, 165mm (170mm tops)
-
It's a Royce bb in case you were wondering :daumenhoch:
As said already, TA cranks would look the business with that :daumenhoch:
-
how about tioga ultra dyno ? or bullseyes ? 8)
-
Never seen those TA's before .. i do like the look of them. Are they hard to come by?! ???
