good afternoon radsters
anyone know if the any of the black standard reissued tuffs came with gold hubs, or only the graphites?
I know from looking on colororedtuffs.com that not all graphites have the logos on them, but wasn't aware of standard ones with gold hubs?
these were described as just 'black'

please let me know :daumenhoch:

the pic on ebay looked fine - was just my screengrabbing software turning it into a gif file that did that
(check the link above for the actual pic)
-
looking at that link lets just hope they are,let us know cos that is a good price if they are :daumenhoch:
-
the ones shown in the link are new graphites if he sends you ones with silver hubs they aint, when they turn up post some pics :daumenhoch:
-
crossing my fingers for next few days!
looks like a stock photo but the description does say anodised hubs
and although feedback is quite low all looks good and from people with decent feedback themselves (not buying stuff for f**k all)
if it all goes pete tong theres always the paypal police :police:
will let peeps know how it goes as the same seller has a lot of tuff pads up for decent price
cheers

doesnt mention graffite in the disciption so expect normal new skyways.... :-\
-
true but the pics show gold hubs and the description says the hubs are anodised
if they turn out not to be the wheels pictured then I'll get the paypal police on the case :police:
let's see what turns up in the post
-
To be fair it does state they have annodised hubs and come with 14mm bolt adapters.....the new graphites come with those and the normal ones don't.

update
turns out the seller had used the wrong picture :(
they apologised & offered full refund, so it looks like I'll be getting some regular tuffs instead...
ah well, at least I'll be saving a bit of cash and won't have to deal with the ball-ache of paypal disputes
still, was worth a punt!
-
i might sell you some nos new school graffites with cool caps hubs, or even some used ones, how much do you want to spend?

I think I'm probably just going to stick with the regular tuffs sam, tbh I only thought about graphites when I saw a pair go for under a ton on ebay the other week
Feel free to shoot me an offer/pics but I'm on a tight budget!
cheers

update - looks like he did have graphites after all, but now selling them at £175 a pop
must have realised he had something a bit more valuable!
