Cheapest chroming isn't always the best and you might not be happy with the results ;)

Depends what your budget stretches too and how nadly pitted the frame is etc.
Here are a couple of shots of my frame before and after the build.
The chromers are Castlefords, a few folk here have used them. Not brilliant but certainly not expensive, I think about £80 for frame and 2 pairs of crank arms.

WHOAA!!!! nice one frosty!! thats basically my build you've got there!!! apart from my frame has a looptail. same kinda of degradation on the frame too. not much but a few spots of rust.
thanks for replies guys. i dont want to cut corners but also cant break the bank. £80 sheets sounds fine to me. I saw on vert-ego he did it for £199. cant really afford that!
nice bear traps btw :)

whatever you do , dont use the platers in ashford ....
I did thata few years back and ended up with loads of gold spots everywhere ... not good.
I think the hardest thing with chromers is finding quality first and then good prices second.
Otherwise try asking custom riders .... they offered a service many years ago that was good value and ok chroming

Give them a ring on 01977 515427 and ask for a quote and also their lead time (usually a few weeks).
Report back what they are now quoting.
Good Luck
