Title: NOS Hutch Pro Racer/Robinson F&F - Any good?
Post by: MartyC on April 27, 2006, 12:43 AM
A couple of NOS suppliers have recently got hold of some Hutch Pro Racer and Robinson F&F's, what's the general consensus; are these any good and worth a look?

From a personal point of view the Robinson's are top notch.

both good but do shop around as quite a difference in price and they do pop up up cheap at times on ebay. the hutch will be a pain as getting the bits for it ie hutch will be hard where as the robinson will be easier to do .

Alan's occasionally pop a Robinson Pro on Ebay with a starting figure of £100. Most of them go for that amount as well. Try ringing them and I'm sure you'll get a good deal on one. He sell's them in the shop for £150.
That's way cheaper than the Hutch and would get you well started on the way to building it as well.

the later hutch made in taiwan is heavier and the build quality not so good. having said that this is a good alternative to the usual as no body are showing the newer hutch as a complete bike. i have one and built up looks good.

also again the robinson is a cheap alternative. if ya interested i have a nos frame never built for sale with a build up kit as well

I've seen Wolfy's Robinson frame fresh in the box and it's a minter. They're nice in Chrome as well. Mine's a red one though, not sure you can get them anymore.
