Title: can cracks in tuffs be repaired?

Black tuff with a crack in it on the rim, can they be repaired chaps??

why not cut away the spokes and sand the rim smooth...drill 36 or 48 holes and a valve hole... et voila  a Skyway Zed rim is born. :D
