got my KHE frame and fork back from the powder coaters today
it was chrome plate. all i did was strip the stickers off (with inspector) and go over the chrome with a scratch pad to clean it.

the chrome was beat up. scratched and rusty in places
(http://30cms.co.uk/temp/z/weasle2.jpg)
there was unshiftable rust all around this area

the white looks mint. it gleams.

cost me 25 quid plus vat.
i am very pleased with the way this has turned out, and i will build this one up over the coming weeks
it was baked at 200 degrees so the paint is rock hard.
so hard that to fit the cups i will have to sand the paint
at least i masked the steerer thread this time

looks good but the forks are not original
-
the forks are the ones that come on the "pussey" model
-
ahhhh that makes sense then.
I rember selling that model many years ago and this old dude with a heavy accent having to buy pussy for his grandson.
i think there was a skunk model also .... we laughed for days because of that guy.

yeh puss and skunk were all catweasle frames, but with lower spec parts making for cheaper bikes
excellent idea
khe always had good ideas and made awesome bikes
with exception of the system diatech "unpleasantness"
