Loving the colourway

I haven't seen them over here yet - if they are they retailing at £500, if so I'd say that it was worth it - you could buy one and flog the Oakleys off it for something stupid on the bay to help fund it, jobs a good 'un :)

"its like a corporate designed trip down memory lane"
thats all you're buying tbh,
i cant believe folks are still falling for this luke warm re-hashed shite year after year after year....
Se racing mugs? SE racing tea-towels? Se racing pyjamas?
fook Se racing, i'm openly ashamed for them,
the few times i've seen fully grown blokes riding this cack i actually feel sorry for them.

The frames have been around a few years now,not so bad but the quality of the parts could be better.I don`t get why they do this frame with A-Headset & V-mounts then stick a US bb on it though :crazy2: Don`t rate the quality of the parts either. And they`re about £150 cheaper at Chainreaction for essentially the same bike. :daumenhoch:

I've had two of them...I no longer have any of them...nice looking until you get up close. ultimately the components look cheap, the bike creaks and flexes.
Ok for a ride down the road, but I wouldn't put one anywhere near a bit of unlevel ground...
Look good, but £500...absolutely not!!!
Ray.

i'd say that it looks nice....but £500?? fook that! buy a decent bike for that :daumenhoch:

SE racing pyjamas?
Yes please, SE Racing PJ's. :P
-
:(
And the SE Racing debate rumbles on...
I have owned a 2006 PK Ripper since new and it gets ridden every week on the track and I have no issues with it. It hasnt fallen to bits or broken (unlike me). I am pleased with the quality of the components and I dont find them cheap and bog standard... double walled rims and flip flop hubs etc ( I know they aren't on the 2011 Retro). However, £500 is a lot of money...especially when the 2011 PK Ripper XLP is only £479 and I think thats a great (and competitive) bike.
If you like it, buy it ... it is a bit expensive though.

:) The regular Rippers are designed as proper race bikes though, not as toys for old men :daumenhoch:
