By the way, riding apart, the photography, directing and editing is first class too, superbly shot!
Credit to Dave Sowerby and the rest of them.

Nice edit. Great shots over Edinburgh and sleepy North Berwick. He's a great rider.
Do a search for Chris Akrigg as well.......
Rider your XC bike like this eh?

Totally amazing but... doesn't have the jaw dropping rawness of the first one he did... that starts with him riding along the fence... I'll go try and find it.
Music ain't all that either...
Why am I such a grumpy cnut this morning >:(

Killer track to ride to as well, even though Guy Mariano had it first in the Lakai DVD >:D

Watched the new Macaskill vid and the Akrigg vid , loads of flow , control and balls 8)
but I'm afraid he set such a benchmark with the first vid , it takes some matching , nevermind beating :)

Yeah, seen it 100's of times and I hear what you're saying.
However, from a photography and editing point of view it's streets ahead in my opinion. I'm a sad anal fooker like that, because I have an interest in all things film and photography, I look at the directing, photography and editing too. Sorry, just the way I am.
As for the music, not summat I would normally go for, I just think it fits perfect.

He rides a funny looking crowser!

I totally agree with you Daz - it is edited lovely, slick and beautifully shot but... it reeks of Redbull money and other Redbull projects I've seen done with bikes and skating... its like the slickness is just 'standard' now as its been seen. Its a bit like when everyone started doing vector graphics in design.. it all got so slick it became boring.
When the content is so rad it overcomes the medium, like in his first vid, then thats something special.
