I have finally found my holy grail, may not mean too much to some who already posess, but I have been hunting for a while, so is not a minute too soon. Anyway, have sourced "my" GT frame and forks that I rode in the 80's, just can't decide wether to "restore" or make an exact repo of the bike I had BITD, which was a bit of a Hybrid.
Wadda yo reckon;

Would you go for the "exact" repo, ie; skyway pads, etc? I think so. Would it be so cool to say "check out this pic of me 20 odd years ago", well, here's the bike!

Ad ,
See if you can replicate it completely , that would be uber cool :daumenhoch:
What are the frame & fork decals ? , I had a GT Pro in 83 (Santa Ana / Nora Cup) & they were the foil ones but yours look different ? . Was it a Mach One ?.
Go for it & re-create :daumenhoch:
-
Stop being a tit, and build your bike... as it was :daumenhoch:

Adam, nothing less than a complete restore of that picture is required, including YOU. We want to see that haircut re-created and more importantly, drainpipe jeans. And we want the pictures to prove it.

Cheers Jay, yes, your frame is my "grail", thanksyou.
The stickers, Matt, are some generic rubbish I put on in juvenile wisdom. The bike was a Santa Ana "expert", not a mach 1.
