As some of you know my dad has recently passed away so my mums been having a clearout at home.
She came across a few of my BMX memories in the process which have cheered me up a bit. :)
Here's me, in I think about 81, on Xmas morning on my new Team Murray. Granted not the best BMX of the time but my mum and dad
wouldv'e struggled to buy this as well as all my other sisters presents. I was made up with it.

And finally, me in the South of France in about 85 with my dad and my mate Jamie.
I'm the one hogging the coke with my Skyway hat on!! We were gutted we couldn't take our bikes with us so we hired
two BMX's for the entire holiday and bought one of those big massive skateboards each....good times.

Big thanks to my mum for finding them and an even bigger thanks to my dad for all the things he ever did for me including
struggling to make ends meet so us kids would be so happy.... :daumenhoch:

For all those of you who have lost a parent you will know how I feel.....for those of you who haven't, never take them for granted,
enjoy your time with them....and finally look after them like they've looked after you....you never know when they'll be gone. ;)

Great pics, don't knock the team murray they were probably what got the whole scene going over here. I had one the first xmas they arrived and had'nt seen anything like it before then all the big names started to arrive :daumenhoch: Nice one

Love Team Murrays , deffo not best build wise , but for me and many others they were the first BMX's in the U.K

Only ever seen one of those frame boards in mags from bitd, can't quite recall but was it rads own Trevor Cowell that created it?
