Title: GT24 Cruiser - Finished at last
Post by: MartyC on April 29, 2006, 09:49 PM
Not an old school ride I know, but I got me a GT24 a while back and decided to give a bit of an old school look.

New front brake (cheers Zippy)
Profile Imperial Chainring  (cheers Romblerk)
Comp III type skinwalls (imported from Rinis - only 2 weeks to deliver)
Chromed the cranks
Chromed the forks

Bike when first bought off evilgay

Lots of Old School lovelyness about this bike, took it for a hack up the road and kerb jumps so sweet  :LolLolLolLol:

No I'm a rear brake only type.

I want to get mine back for the wife as I've now got a Haro SX24 (great bike).

Where did you get your forks and cranks chromed by the way and how much did they charge. They look really good.

A friend of mine does steel fabrication and he got a mate of his to do them for me at a argain price of £35  I think he's done a really good job too although I had to prepare them!  He's going to get me the guys number for Sawzall so as soon as I get it I'll PM you.  He is based in Uxbridge though!

Niceand they are great rides as well.

They were a bargain $20 a pair, so I got two pairs  Shipping was another $40 though  :(  Worked out at about £50 in total and no problems with customs as they are tyres for childrens bikes  :LolLolLolLol:
