I found my self looking and for the first time liking some of the new school rides rolling round ramp city last night :-[
There was a particularly nice chrome number with red ano bits and a real nice candy blue frame/forks/bars set-up too -I was surprised how tastey they both looked.
Sniffin round the google-plex i quite like this too.............
Someone tell me it's wrong.... please :D

-
get a fookin room you pair of fags ::) >:D
Garage was fine Gaz , if a little cold :D You should pop down to one of our Monday night meets , but you will have to go through the initiation ceremony and it doesn't involve dropping in on a 10ft vert ramp ;) :-*
-
looked pretty so must be good ;D try find somehing with a low bb for more of an old school feel
-
Go halfway and get one of the Midskool gems that are kicking around from time to time, my black dirtbike feels as nice as any modern frame/bike I have had and its way cooler, for the stuff I do its perfect and it didnt cost more than £300 and it aint that heavy at 28lb. I built a 21lb deluxe laced with top trinkets earlier this year, it was an amazing bike to look at but my dirtbike feels nicer :-\ and its a 1/4 of the cost
-
Get some photos up to give us some ideas :daumenhoch:
I remember seeing a rad looking redline someone posted a photo off once ???
-
Stands me at £300
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/p70/simonjturner/IMGP0965.jpg)
Bit more but Betty is selling a frame and forks cheap
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/p70/simonjturner/IMGP0519.jpg)
I sold this early on this year, complete as you see it ......for £300 :'(
(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/p70/simonjturner/IMGP0561.jpg)
Mid bargains are still around, look on ebay for completes and pimp where appropriate :daumenhoch:
-
bobafett... please leave the room! :yahoo_silent:
-
:wtf: All the new school BMX's I've seen around my hometown (Blackpool) seem to have a seat pointing in the air and the post lowered right down, handle bars that are too small, no front brake and they all seem to be black! They all look heavy as well. :tickedoff:
I do like watching Daniel Dhers, Jamie Bestwick & Ryan Guettler riding though :4_17_5:
-
Dude ^^^^ they're far from heavy, come along to the next lock in if you're in Blackpool and have a try out... :daumenhoch:
Carl found a frame you might like, perfect for an LFC nut
Fit Ben Lewis signature frame....

Gotta be in red... :daumenhoch:

Si, the Holmes has been stashed away for the time being... :daumenhoch:

Gaz the initiation ceremony Joff spoke of involves you riding this frame ^^^^^^^

Ahhh , you know where I'm coming from though ,,shagger ,don't ya ? ::)
Hell ,any half decent custom bike set up, you could piece up is more than good enough for our talents once you 've decided the frame size that suits you best.
so ideally seeing as these guys like many of us are collectors and like if a build looks cool or pretty aswell, so that adds to the interest ;)
Plus you know when you go to a park somebody(tight jean-ed) is always eyeing up your bike, weighing up kudos points ::)
You're as bad Pete , for having the latest bits on yours , pimpin'
-
If you want a new school size and geometry ride, but with all the old school whistles and bells
it's gotta be one o' these though :4_17_5:

I've been looking at those since they came out Christian - any one seen any reports on how they ride then - compared to an out and out well respected new-schooler ?
Would look ace done with new school bits but with a retro flavour 8)
-
Can't find that black Goose cruiser someone made , I saw recently :-\,,that was awesome

As you said John , It'd be good to actually get an un-biased review from a rider/tester , to see how they perform
You're not gonna beat a new school bike , for riding , but these are still a cool intresting option
-
:smitten: that Redline. Just stunning . :smitten:
-
Wasn't that redline squareback cruiser a Johnny Chopper jobby ?
-
Quite like the look of that goose lookalikey i'd bin the tuffs in favour of spoked wheels though
