asked on BW
"Hey guys, a mates brother found this in his mothers garage last week, as a kid he was never too sure it was a haro!!!!
Please can anyone help him in the true identity of his childhood ride?"
-
Not a Haro
-
Haro Stickers.
-
Seat tube gusset more like a DP freestyler :D
it's a mix up :crazy2:
Nice looking but definately not even close :)
There were quite a few immitators made at the time :-\
-
Deffo no Haro and the top of that seat tube looks bent
-
Please tell me Retrorides isn't up to his old tricks again. ::)
-
A lot of riders used DPs and similar bikes - I don't remember seeing many kids on genuine Haros anyway.
-
looks like a dp with the plate around the seat post, but then look closer at the rear drops outs, 2 holes so unless some ones had the drill out dont think this is a firebird. :-\
-
Not sure what it is, but a good find.. Wish my mum had a garage... :D
-
Not sure what it is, but a good find..
Exactly, it's a bike and could be a source of joy and fitness for someone - priceless :smitten:

Spot on ^^^, welds look good but it's a frame styled like a Haro nut not even a close copy but it all looks good to me and would make a nice budget freestyle build :daumenhoch:
-
strangely the decals look original. Noone has managed to replicate that rich green colour recently. Not a Haro though...
-
not a firebird either, but lucks ok to me id buy it if wasn't for silly money lol :daumenhoch:
-
Its a cut n shut
Front end of a gen1 back end of a Firebird
-
Twin top tube - looks like a Haro to me, but then again they all look the same to me! >:D
-
Looks like an ultra max, certainly has the same gusset
