..I haven't built myself a bike for well over a year, and that was my Team Aero Pro Race Bike...
And before that it was my Chrome Aero Pro, which is slowly getting as close to factory spec as is possible.
I've always been a fan of 'custom' builds, as long as they are done with taste and a lot of thought.
I've had this build on the go for the past 12 months and several times I just lost interest in it because of various 'nuggets' that continue to blight this fantastic hobby... but the last bits arrived yesterday so I spent the morning putting her together.
Two of my favourite models from the Raleigh Burner range are the MK2 Cromo (Koisumi Frame & Forks) and the Night Burner. I love the geometry and build quality of the Koisumi Frameset and always had a soft spot for the Night Burner colour scheme with its smoke over chrome finish.
We've has a glut of Night Burner 'style' builds in the past few weeks and at one point after a vague text from spike371 I thought my idea was already being built... :buck2: :buck2:
So here it is... My MK2 CROMO 'NIGHT' BURNER (Koisumi Frameset).

I didn't want standard Night Burner decals, because it isn't a Night Burner, its a Cromo Burner  so I had decals made up that are in the 'style' of the Night Burner but also identify this bike as a Cromo. :daumenhoch:

Its been such a long build, collecting parts etc... in an attempt not offend anyone who has helped with supplying parts I'm just gonna say.. "You know who you are and you are all legends of this hobby... I thank you!".
I'm not sure what I'm gonna do with the bike now its built, whether its gonna be stored with my small collection or whether it might be raffled off for Christmas.

It was powdered by FHMREADER (Impreziv Finishing). It does have brown tint in certain light.. in other light it looks very black.
