I have just bought a DB frame and forks... The serial no is: SH0614
Is it an early Senior Pro ???

Hi
Got any pictures?
And what's on the forks stem?
If I remember correctly the Senior Pro was the best DB at the time and pre Turbo. The Turbo took the SP's place when released.
My brother had one in the early 80's and they are quite a large bike. It also has an upright seat post (like the Turbo), and they are looptails.
I'm guessing yes....
PS - I also got a DB today ;)

i bought this..it has db forks too. I will get the fork serial as soon as the frameset lands. I will get better piccys when it arrives too. Note the distance to the brake stay from the back of the seat tube, looks longer than the streak and Viper.... I initially thought it was a Turbo or a Senior Pro. Like you say the seat tube isn't as laid back either on the Pro and Turbo. I thought Turbo serials started with E***** baseball sign. I hope its chrome underneath that black paint :D
I Just wondered what variations are out there. I know someone has a Turbo which doesn't start with E...just can't remember who ;D
Anyone with a Senior Pro....can you check your serial please ;) thx

or you sure it's an S ? not a 8 or a 5. is there a baseball? it is year number followed by letter month and then production number followed by a baseball.
